The Planetary and Space Science Centre currently houses an impact structure thin section collection, a map collection and a collection of hand specimens and drill core. Impact Structure Thin Section Collection The database is subdivided into sections based on the alphabetical name of the respective structure. Impact Structure Map Collection The Planetary and Space Science Centre houses a collection of topographic, geological and geophysical maps, as well as some aerial photographs for many Canadian impact structures. Topographic and geological maps are also available for selected world impact structures. 1:250,000 scale topographic maps are also available for the whole of Canada.
